What owners wrote
Tl* the contact owns a 2007 cadillac dts. The contact stated that an independent repair facility had been informed more than once that the oil pressure warning indicator illuminated several times. The dealer had not been contacted. While driving at an unspecified rate of speed, the oil pressure warning indicator flashed, there was a sudden loss of power, and the brake pedal was stiff when depressed. As a result, the contact crashed into the rear of an 18 wheeler.
I was blown away to find oil under my 07 dts cadillac, then to learn it's common. Thinking it was a drain plug or oil filter changed the oil. No such luck, it's the engine lower end leaking. Thinking it wasn't so bad to not drive I watched the oil level closely. I noticed oil film covering the right rear quarter panel and rear trunk lid and a drippy coating of oil under the car. This makes it a danger to the highways and other cars by leaking a quart every hundred miles.
