What owners wrote

Owner was driving, attempted to turn up HVAC fan to higher speed but noticed that fan would not increase speed and stayed on the low speed. Then started to smell smoke. Pulled over, shut truck off but noticed HVAC blower fan was still running on low speed. Saw fire inside right side of dash. Fire originated inside right side of dash at location of blower motor and resistor components.

October 2011 Fire

Speedometer continually goes haywire; it appears you are driving 50+ MPH when you are in park; when you actually do start moving you have no idea how fast you are going; max out at 120 MPH when you are flowing with traffic in a 70 MPH zone. Occurs intermittently with increasing frequency; I have not had an assessment of the cost associated with this repair done yet.
