While driving vehicle caught on fire. Investigation showed that fluid was overflowing out of the transfer case and traveling to the catalytic converter and exhaust system. The fluid overflowed to the hot manifold and exhaust system causing the fire. The consumer stated that the transmission was replaced and the seal that connects the transfer case was not replaced. The consumer stated that when the flammable liquid from the transmission went into the transfer case the seal gave way.
