What owners wrote

Was traveling on highway at 55MPH and vehicle hit a bump. Then, suddenly air bags deployed. Lost control of vehicle due to loss of visibility. Moved to slow lane & hit cement wall & went into a tail spin. Rear bumper was hit by another vehicle & came off. Horn failed to work when it was used. Driver received burns on right hand from passenger side air bag.

November 2000 CrashInjury

When exiting the freeway after driving approximately 30 minutes, the cavalier quit running at the top of the ramp. This was at evening rush hour and several cars were behind, trying to exit. I could not restart the vehicle. Cars were honking as I was in the lane and could not get out of the way. We had the vehicle towed. We had the entire fuel pump/sender unit replaced. Vehicle then seemed to operate okay, but two days later after driving on the freeway again, the exact same problem occurred.

Reported at 87,200 miles, July 2005
