What owners wrote

While driving home from work, my 2003 chevrolet cavalier suddenly stalled in traffic. In order to prevent a serious accident, I attempted to pull the vehicle to the side of the road. Without power steering (due to the vehicle stalling), control was limited and I ultimately ran into a snow bank. Luckily, I was able to get the vehicle off the road far enough to prevent a more serious accident involving other vehicles.

Reported at 104,000 miles, January 2008 Crash

While driving my car stalled. I was able to start it again, but again it stalled, and afterward it would not start. I had my mechanic help me move the car to his shop, where upon further examination he determined that my cavalier's fuel pump had failed while the car was in motion. The fuel pump failed at only 56k miles! This is unacceptable, if I were on a major highway when the vehicle stalled people could have died!
