What owners wrote

Tl*the contact owns a 2007 chevrolet colorado truck. He stated that over a year ago he crashed into a vehicle since the brake and accelerator pedal design was defective. The gas pedal is too close to the brake pedal; therefore, sometime when he engaged the brake pedal his foot also stepped on the accelerator pedal. The dealer stated that there was nothing that they could do to adjust the pedals. The failure mileage was 15,000 and the current mileage was 66,000. Updated 02/23/10.

Reported at 15,000 miles, March 2008 Crash

First thing in the morning when I pull out of my drive way and stop at the light when I hit my brakes they make a high pitch noise and grab so hard that my truck loses control and I hit the dashboard. This has happened since I've had the truck. I bought it brand new. They told me the brakes needed adjusting so they did it but it has done it ever since. I've talked to other people and they all say the same thing. What can I do? Is there a recall or have you heard about this problem from other people.
