I pulled in to traffic on busy road, car quit. I almost got hit. The Fuel Pump Control Module was replaced on warrantee but I understand this has been an ongoing problem. Car had 800 miles. My wife is now afraid to drive it.

There was no warning light illuminated. The vehicle was towed to the dealer, where it was diagnosed with a fuel pump module failure. The contact was informed that the fuel pump module needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 10,000.
