Tl* the contact owns a 2010 chevrolet impala. The contact stated that the front passenger seat belt failed to restrain the passenger and allowed them to move forward and hit his forehead on the eye glass holder located on the sun visor. The manufacturer informed the contact that the VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign number 10v480000 (seat belts). The vehicle was not repaired.
My service airbag sensor light had been on since I purchased my car a year ago, I am going to sell it but I didn't want to sell it with something that has to do with safety being questionable. I drove it to auto nation yesterday june 11th to see if it was a recall. They said there hasn't been one. I drove it home and started searching online for possible problems with it and there were so many posts about this issue.
