What owners wrote
The windshield design which has some type fogging around the windshield is starting to effect the visibity of the occupant, which may cause an accident. Dealer cannot determine problem, but had to replace the windshield. Please provide details.
Ref: NHTSA recall no. 97v017000 some of these vehicles have a strained or separated windshield washer/wiper switch wire. This can cause the windshield washer/wiper to work intermittently and could ultimately result in inoperative wipers. This has occurred twice during operation of my vehicle while driving on interstate highways and needing the wipers during a sudden rain storm. Five minutes later the wipers would be working again.
