What owners wrote
Consumer was exiting onto freeway & applied brakes, ABS kicked in & the hydraulic motor started making noise. It sounded like it was applying & releasing. Consumer pressed brake pedal to the floor & it wouldn't stop. This resulted in a low speed rearend collision. Consumer received recall 99v193000 dealing with the same issue. But was told that warranty had expired . Also, manufacturer assumed no responsibility because of age of vehicle. They did not encourage consumer to drive vehicle until repairs were done.
Vehicle was taken to the dealer for recall 00v193000 repairs concerning ABS. Dealer made the repairs, but the vehicle still slipped when the brakes were applied forcefully.
