What owners wrote

Tl*the contact owns a 2002 chevrolet silverado 1500 hd. While driving at a low rate of speed to 60 MPH or trying to park when applying the brakes the pedal made complete contact with the floor. He had to continue to engage the brakes until the pedal extended normally. The dealer stated that the power steering pump needed to be replaced. The repair was performed a month ago and the failure continued to occur on a daily basis. During cold temperatures the failure didn't occur.

My vehicle was in 4 wheel drive as I was leaving a parking lot and entering a highway. The vehicle was only traveling about 5 MPH. I applied the brake but the vehicle did not stop. I then pressed the brake pedal with both feet and there was a noise and then the ABS brake system started to stop the vehicle. I was just able to stop before rolling out onto a very busy highway. I took the pick-up to the chevy dealership and had it checked out. After several people drove it, it was determined there are no problems.
