What owners wrote

The vehicle ignition turned off while driving (vehicle in motion) causing the power steering to fail. This has happened three times in the past 3 weeks. GM does not list this model as part of its recall and when I contacted GM they recommended taking it to a dealer and having it repaired at my expense.

Reported at 63,000 miles, March 2015

My silverado frequently "shuts off" when I am making turns. This is extremely dangerous - the latest time I was pulling out into traffic and the engine and all electrical parts turn off. I was nearly hit by another vehicle. There was a recall for this exact issue and my local chevrolet dealer said they have "fixed it". I keep bringing the truck back to them, but they won't attempt to fix it again citing lemon laws because they can't get the truck to replicate the issue.
