What owners wrote

In july 2006 my rear passenger window started to not work all the time. The window would stick part way up, or down. The door hinges also started to squeak really bad. On one day while traveling with 4 young children in the back a child had opened the window about three inches, it then stuck. When we parked he tried to open the back door, the door stuck at about six inches open. An adult passenger pulled the door open. The window exploded in all directions spraying glass on all the children and the adult.

My wife was driving our 2000 suburban on the interstate when she heard a loud sound which sounded like something hit the vehicle. Upon investigation, we saw that the top of the rear window had an indenting like something had hit it and damaged the rear glass. So we filed a complaint with state farm and took it to a body shop. The body shop looked at it and said that the damage was caused by the right hinge breaking which holds the rear glass to the body. The hinge just broke on its own.
