What owners wrote

Mirror vibrates eccessively, preventing ability to view other vehicles safely. Difficult to judge distance during night time hours. Dealer replaced twice still having problems, refused to replace again!.

March 2002

Dt: hinge on the glass of the rear window separated during an extremely hot day of 100 degree plus temperature. The glass did not break but only separated into pieces. This happened on a 2002 chevrolet tahoe rear lift glass. If the back lift glass door was opened and the hinge fully separated the glass could fall off on a person or ultimately fall out of the hinge at highway speeds. The glass never fully separated;, only one hinge separated. No previous issues with this problem.
