What owners wrote
Transmission cooling lines corroded and failed causing a car fire. The transmission fluid leaked on to the catalytic converted igniting a fire that melted the wiring harness and elements of the electrical/computer system.
Transmission on my 2006 trailblazer failed at 44,000 miles. The failure caused the vehicle to roll backwards almost immediately. The vehicle would only operate in 1st and 2nd gear. Dealership inspection indicated that the transmission failed prematurely but had no explanation as to why.
