What owners wrote

Takata recall I was involved in an accident that did over $9,000 damage to my front end of vehicle. The airbags did not inflate. This was on a city street, and both vehicles were moving. Also had a power window motor go out. I understand that this might be involved in a recall of window motors that could be causing fires.

Reported at 95,000 miles, November 2013 CrashInjury

I was driving home from work and started smelling burned wires - then smoke started pouring out of all creases in my driver side door. I pulled over and had a drink with me and dumped the whole thing into the door to get it to stop. Fire dept came and told me not to drive the vehicle and had it towed to the dealership. The dealership determined in was a faulty driver door window regulator and it had a hole burned through it.
