May 2015 CrashInjury

I had a recall performed at the dealer for the shifter recall in for which they performed a reprogram that would supposedly keep the car from rolling if the drivers door was opened and the transmission was not put in park. Well here's what happened. After the reprogram whenever the drivers door is opened while the car is running and in gear it jumps into park which is bad for the driveline. I guess that's how it was reconfigured.
