What owners wrote

Braking system malfunctioned due to brake lining being 'too thin" which caused brakes to become spongy, and caused extended stopping distance which may have resulted in a crash. Also a fire started in the motor. Please provide further information.

December 1998 Fire

My 1995 chrysler concorde with 3.3-litre v6 engine. VIN#[xxx] the engine shuts off during driving. Sometimes the engine restarts on its own immediately while coasting after it shuts off. Sometimes I have to pull off the road and wait a couple of minutes for it to restart. It has been happening about once or twice a week. The local dealership could not diagnose the problem, and at $85/hour diagnostic time, I am reluctant to bring it to them again. Most recently this happened on june 23, 2004.
