While driving, consumer noticed smoke emitting from under the hood and parked vehicle. A fire immediately started from engine compartment. Dealer determined that fire was related to the fuel system, specifically a leak from the fuel rails. Ts

While traveling consumer smelled fumes, and immediately took vehicle to a dealer since he found out there was a recall for a fuel rail. Dealer told consumer that the recall was not on driver's side of the vehicle but on passenger's side.. No recalls found. The customer was told that the vehicle had a problem with the o rings.
