Headlamp case - condensation inside is forming inside the head lamp casing - I have placed photos of the problem at this url link for your viewing: [link removed] [link removed] chrysler's district manager claims there is no problem and has refused to perform any type of repair or fix. This could cause the automobile to become unsafe during a heavy rain.
2006 chrysler crossfire has a problem with the windshield wiper mechanism. The consumer stated when it rained he had to pull over to the side o the road because the windshield wipers did not run fast enough to keep the windshield clear. The dealer told the consumer there was nothing wrong with the windshield wiper mechanism.
2006 chrysler crossfire convertible. Back glass fell out. Appears that it is glued into the top and the glue failed. Word from chrysler dealership is that there is no fix for it. Only solution is to replace entire convertible top at a cost of 2400 dollars. Hard to believe that it cannot be just glued back in since that is how it was installed to begin with from the factory. Also have extended warranty but was told that it is not covered because that is considered normal wear and tear.
Tl* the contact owns a 2006 chrysler crossfire convertible. The contact stated while driving 25 MPH she heard a knocking noise. She realized that rear window on the ragtop was detaching. The vehicle was taken to the dealer who advised her to either replace the ragtop or take the vehicle to an upholstery shop. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure and current mileage was 26,000.
Rear glass window adhesive failed and wndow is falling out. Glass window on convertable roof is separating from vinal. The window will eventially fall out completely causing unsafe conditions. Called chrysler and was told no warranty or recall and that whole convertable top would need to be replaced for approx $2000. The car is always in a garage and has very few miles. This is obviously a poor design. Window could fall out and cause severe damage or accident.
