2007 chrysler town and country minivan sliding door lock fails to open with power button or keyless fob. This requires a manual intervention to unlock the door and then manually open the door. This is a safety issue in case of emergency which would hamper immediate egress. Web sites suggest to reset the iod fuse or change out an expensive bcm. However, this only treats the symptom. There are no recalls or chrysler help to identify or fix the root cause, not just the proximal cause.
