2006 Dodge Caravan steering problems

I purchased a 4 cyl 2006 dodge caravan on april 28th, 2006. On may 22nd the power steering failed completely while my wife and family were out shopping. There was a substantial leak of red fluid that had spayed the entire inside of the engine compartment. (afterwards I realized how fortunate we were that there wasn't a fire) we had it towed to the dealership and were told that a hose wasn't properly "torqued" at the factory and had come off the power steering pump.

Tl* the contact owns a 2006 dodge caravan. The contact stated that a loud noise emitted from the vehicle upon starting and power steering fluid was leaking. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The dealer stated that the power steering pump needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The failure continued. The manufacture was contacted and they stated that there were no recalls on the vehicle and the warranty was expired. The failure mileage was 140,000 and the current mileage was 148,000.
