October 2000 Fire

The oil pressure in our 2000 dodge durango dropped to 0. . We dropped the car off for 1 days - I was informed that to to \"oil sludge\" in the engine, the car is irrepairable damage to the engine. The engine will need to be replaced the car has 73,000 miles on it and we still owe $18,000! I called auto west dodge, ca to ask if they had heard of any similar problems and was told no. Then checked online and have found many of the same examples of the same problem.
