While driving in a 2000 dodge durango the left front wheel fell off causing the vehicle to roll numerous times. Three people died as a result of this accident.
The steering, suspension, and wheels suck!!! On my 2000 dodge durango.n feb. 15, 2003 while driving my durango, it totally lost control, causing me to side swipe one car, then cause damage to a second and third car. I continue to drive a vehicle that I do not feel safe in. With four children I can not afford to purchase another car. If I could get out of my contract with dodge and trade it in for a safer SUV, I would.
Driving at freeway speed when upper ball joint failed and passenger side front wheel assembly broke off. Driver was unable to control. The vehicle left the roadway and overturned end over end. All three passengers were ejected, one fatality two severe injuries.
2000 dodge durango 35,000 miles. Drivers front upper & lower ball joints had to be replaced. Several mechanics looked at them and stated they were dangerous and would not inspect vehicle. Dodge dealership brushed it off saying they were within guidelines. We paid to have them replaced ourselves.
