What owners wrote
1991 dodge dynasty, 3.3l engine. Fuel rail leaking, at crossover tube connection. Fuel leaking down onto vavle cover, which then leaked onto hot exhaust manifold. Minor fire, but thank god I was in my driveway when I smelled the fuel. Opening the hood revealed the small fire that started. The dodge dealer wants 300.00 for the part, and I feel chrysler should pay for this part since it is not a "wear" item, nor is it a moving part, or in a location prone to wear.
I smelled a strong order of gas when driving, when I checked under the hood there was a constant dripping fro the fuel rail supplying the fuel injectors...first , it was a small dripping on the front valve cover and after 2-3 months its a strong continuous dripping filling up the valve cover spilling into the manifold area. I have restricted driving my car to 5-7 miles at a time to prevent possible fires.
