2010 Dodge Grand Caravan cruise control problems

I was pulling into a parking spot at sam's club in woodbury, mn. As I was pulling in, my van rapidly accelerated and hit the car parked across from me head on. It felt as if I was riding a bumper car and I was whipped around a corner. My vehicle suffered damages at approximately $2600--so it wasn't just a simple bump. I am reasonably certain that this was not user error on my part. The brakes were repaired approximately 2 weeks before the accident.

I had turned onto a highway and was accelerating and when I got up to speed, 65 MPH, I let off the gas but the van kept accelerating. I hit the brakes and it kept trying to accelerate while I was hitting the brakes. I checked to make sure there was nothing on the gas pedal and there was nothing. I was trying not to hit other cars and slow down so I could pull over.
