What owners wrote
Had my car into dealer 2 times for the same problem. It shuts down while in motion. Have had 5 incidents of stalling. The 5th time was the same thing, it completely shut down. Unable to steer and brake. I ran off the road, through a chain link fence, down an imbankment into somebody's back yard, the only thing stopping my vehicle was a large car trailer. I was slightly injured (bruising). It is my opinion that dodge has a serious safety issue here, that they are not addressing.
I was traveling up the highway when all of my service lights illuminated and I lost complete engine power. I attempted to get my vehicle to the turning lane but it was difficult because of loss of power steering. I got it to the turning lane and tried to restart it several times. This lasted about 15-20 mins to no avail. My vehicle was towed to a local mechanic who could find nothing wrong with the vehicle.
