What owners wrote

While traveling at highway speed of 55 MPH passenger's rear wheel with every thing, except the dust pan from the axle came off the vehicle. No injury reported. Consumer asked dealer what made the wheel com eoff. Delaer's reply was that nothing was wrong with the brakes. Prior to the recall (00v-007) the wheel broke off from the axle and the vehicle went out of control resulting in accident.

December 1999 CrashInjury

Uncontrollable wheel shake (death wobble), until you come to complete stop which the violent shaking in turn affects how I brake. Chrysler revised the steering set up and kept it a secret until you made a complaint even then they just say you need to replace all steering components mean while what they install is nothing like what was there. Chrysler should be responsible for poor engineering- this can hurt someone one day and would rather see it not. Violent wheel shake I mean violent.
