What owners wrote
The car does not detect pedestrians or other vehicles in the rear of the vehicle. It does, however, detect cars on the side. I just recently backed into another car in a parking garage because this feature does not work. I am disabled, have had a spinal fusion and a neck fusion and I purchased this car because of it's advanced safety features. The features do not work!
The contact owns a 2023 Fisker Ocean. The contact stated that upon start of the vehicle, the gear shifter failed to engage and would move out the park(P) position. The contact also noticed that the gear position lights had failed to illuminate on the instrument panel. The vehicle then began to roll backwards at a rapid speed as the brakes failed to operate upon depression of the brake pedal. The contact immediately depressed the parking brake to avoid crashing into another vehicle.
