What owners wrote

Vehicle lunges at idle speeds with tachometer going from approximately 700 to 1500 RPM, generally happens in parking lots driveway and garage, and occurs in drive and reverse. First occurred sporadically but is happening with more frequency now. Car hasn`t hit anything yet but have had very close calls. Service engine or any other warning light have not come on during incidents. Lunging happens multiple times per incident often occurring several times during a single parking attempt.

Car went into failsafe engine mode and wrench appear after changing brake light switch. A year ago samething happened and I turned the car off and the message went away until I had to change the above mentioned. Now the message want go off and it will not give a code for the problem. The car will also lunge sometimes when the A/C is on. Is there a recall on the 05 ford five hundred limited for this problem?
