Upon attempting to start vehicle every warning indicator flashed in series across the screen and the SUV would not start nor was the vehicle lockable. Also, the rear door and access glass (where tools, safety equipment, and spare tire is located) could not be opened. The vehicle would not start and could not be placed in neutral to push the vehicle to a safe location. The manufacturer informed me a "failure to communicate" was indicated in their system.
The contact owns a 2024 Ford Bronco Sport. The contact stated that while starting the vehicle, there was a ticking sound coming from the engine compartment. There was no warning light illuminated. Additionally, while driving at an undisclosed speed, the contact smelled a fuel odor. The Mobile App indicated that the VIN was associated with NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V455000 (Fuel System, Gasoline); however, parts were not yet available for the recall repair.
