What owners wrote

4/29/19 - driving on 400 n, entrance ramp to I-285 e, moving approx 25 MPH, atlanta, ga. Front rt rim failed, split in half, resulting in $2100 damage to tire, rim, struts, bearings, etc. Definitely did not hit a curb, pothole, or road debris; impact w/road was instantaneous

I began to hear a roaring noise in the rear while driving. The dealer said that it was the rear hub, bearings , and attachment arm and needed to be replaced that it could lead to a wheel coming off , a safety issue. I was told ford knew there was a problem with these parts and is referred to as "of customer interest" but was not a recall. If ford knows of the defective part why are they not issuing a recall? This repair cost me $800.
