What owners wrote

My Ford Escape ecoboost engine had a coolant leak. It gave no warning and suddenly stopped running in the middle of the road while I was driving. I opened the engine and there was a small piece of metal that looked like it was about to catch fire. I have visited the ford dealership multi times asking for them to repair car and fix any known issues and they ignored this well known problem with the 1.6 engines and racked up unrelated charges on unnecessary fixes (I believe) to get the most money out of me before…

July 2024 Fire

Car is losiing pressure and seeming like its going to stall while in motion. It just happens randomly. There was a recall on this very problem back in 2015 but the ford dealership says its not covered. Update- the dealership is saying its the purge valve but are still saying its not covered under the 2018 recall
