As a result of a tire blowout consumer ran into a wall and passenger's doors opened upon impact. Manufacturer was contacted. Please provide further information.
Tl* the contact owns a 2000 ford excursion. The contact stated that the four interior power door locks failed to unlock when activated. In addition, the trunk lid would not open when the key fob or trunk control release mechanism were engaged. In order to exit the vehicle, the contact had to manually unlock each door. Also, the trunk lid only opened when manually accessed with a key. The vehicle had not been repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 75,000.
