What owners wrote
I bought a 2006 ford expedition and 3 months later while my dad was driving it accelerated by it self and my dad die in the accident caused by unexpected acceleration of the vehicle.
I was driving my 2006 ford expedition & the fail safe engine light came on & that stops the gas pedal from working. You then coast over to the side of the road & turn the truck off & restart it like nothing happened. This has happened 2 times about 3 months apart. I had the truck check by bob boyd ford & they said it needed the throttle body & gas pedal sensor replaced,I called ford & filed a complaint of how dangerous this is, especially if you are making a left turn in on coming traffic( my ford case number…
