2021 Ford F-150 wheels problems

The bolt holding the hub to the axle sheared off. THis truck is less than a year old with 95% highway miles so, not sure what the cause is other than negligence on Ford's end. Without this bolt, the wheel could separate from the axle while driving and cause a serious incident. There was no indication other than a slight rattling I could hear while driving slow with the windows down. It is possible there are many people out there with the same serious issue without knowing.

The contact owns a 2021 Ford F-150. The contact stated that the vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic and the contact was informed that there was rust on all four wheels. The mechanic was unable to remove the wheels due to the rust. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 48,000.
