Dueler right rear inside tire, original equipment, size 225/70r19.5, DOT# cu9rihtk0400 blew out while putting air into tire. Consumer received hand/arm injuries. Tire contractor for continental tire was notified, and was unwilling to assist in this matter. Tire is available for analysis.
I have a 2000 ford f-450 with 19.5" general tires. I had a flat tire whereby the valve stem blew out. I had to replace the valve stems in all tires because, according to the tire shop where they were replaced,they were the wrong valve stems. The stems were not for high pressure tires but rather regular automobile tires. Ford had a recall but only checked to see if they were leaking. They shouild have replaced them with the proper valves.
