What owners wrote
Was cleaning my 2005 ford freestar and pulled the lever that releases the back of the bench seat directly behind the drivers seat. The back of the seat came down so hard that it cut the end of my thumb off, including the entire nail. I had to go to the emergency room for treatment and followup with an orthopedic surgeon. So far, to my knowledge, nothing to date has been done to correct this.
The part that has the clip for back seat fell out and now there is a 5 by 5 inch hole going into the wheel well and the seat has nothing to clip onto and be secure, this was recalled in this model
