What owners wrote
The Ford Maverick is subject to rodent invasions which caused an engine fire. We had to file a State Farm Insurance Claim ($4016.36 of repairs done to repair the engine including electrical, emission system, cowl, fuel system, and insulation.) This was completed XXX. We have been faithfully spraying the engine with Rodent Repellent, using Natural Repeller packs, and rat snap traps. We have regularly checked the engine to see if they have come back.
