What owners wrote

Serious leaking issues on new fords model 05 through 08. My brand new car had leaking under the floorboard which caused black mold and other mold to grow causing health and other problems. It has also caused electrical problems in other fords. Brake lights malfunctioning, possible air bag malfunctions. Ford knows of the issue and is not having a re-call.

Reported at 12,000 miles, May 2008 Injury

Speedometer erratic and not calculating correct speeds. More erratic in cold climate. When the car is started the speedometer is at 20MPH, drive the car it gets stuck on 50mhp, and continues to rise. At times the speedometer works in warm weather, but I have to try to reset it to zero before I begin driving. I see a lot of complaints regarding the speedometer in the mustang forums and see no resolve to the issue. I contacted the ford motor company, and they say there are no recalls.
