What owners wrote
Driving car on freeway and it caught on fire, no previous issues that would cause the fire. Front of car and engine compartment caught on fire....updated 01/25/16
I had to have my car brought in for a check engine light. After the dealer did a full test, they narrowed it down to the gas tank area. It was a fuel module broken at the flange and also they recommended the fuel sensor to be replaced because they have been noticing a lot of vehicle coming in with the sensor going bad. The dealer also informed me that the 2008 acadia's have a design flaw in the gas tank and there is a chance in the future it may need to be replaced, but for now the tank looks really good.
