What owners wrote
My car ran out of gas without any warning. I looked up my VIN number and its not included in the recall however it should be included. I've been driving for over 20 years and never ran out of gas before. There is an issue with my fuel gauge and GMC is not recalling my vehicle, and considering gmc's recent past regarding recalls I believe GMC is continuing this trend of not recalling the vehicles that it should.
I was driving at roughly fifty MPH when engine shutoff and put vehicle into neutral to pullover avoiding rear end crash by semi truck I attempted to start vehicle but vehicle engine locked without any warning I called dealer and towed into service and it was something internal in engine and told to wait for more info.
