What owners wrote

Brakes will go out while driving, and the pedal will go to the floor before the vehicle even starts to slow down. Contacted the dealer, and the dealer is not willing to do anything. The consumer states that the ride control will not go on; there is an internal short-replaced the ride control, the consumer states that the ABS light stays on-faulty speed sensors, and right front seat belt is not retracting. *scc

August 2002 Death

Dt: the contact stated the emergency brake did not work properly. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer, and they adjusted the cable. This adjustment did not take care of the problem. The dealer stated they were aware of the problem, however, they could not do anything about it because there was no recall at this time. He stated there was a problem with the rear rotors. The rotor/drum assembly rusted. The rusting was causing a decrease in the braking power. The rotors were so rusted they could not be turned.
