Our son was involved in a accident on 09/15/2013 where he was traveling north bound on soldiers home road in moraine ohio. His truck went of the right side of the road, when it did he accidentally hit the gas and not the brake. Truck then hit an electric pole as it picked up speed broke a tie rod in half. He then lost control as it flew across the street still increasing speed. At that time he hit 2 trees and a fire hydrant, then the truck spun and the rear wrapped around another tree.
Maumee ohio accident report #004028. Brake failure. Extremely cold weather, ten degrees fahrenheit. Bumper-to-bumper traffic rolling downhill to a light. Both clutch and brake pedals were depressed with strong, steady foot pressure at 15-20 MPH. ABS pulsing activated. Vehicle gradually slowed to 10-15 MPH. But, other vehicles came to a complete stop in the same distance. So, a rear-end collision occurred at 10-15 MPH. It is reasonable to speculate that the road surface was frozen.
Consumer was driving at approximately 40 MPH when another vehicle suddenly pulled out in front , consumer hit vehicle with front end , and dual airbags did not deploy, causing injuries. There was no indication or warning of defective airbags system. Vehicle had $3,000-$5000 worth of damages ,and it was mostly likely totaled.

I adjusted the bolts that fasten the seat to the floor of the vehicle to help 'realign' the seat frame so that the mechanism that keeps the seat from siding front and back would keep the seat locked into position once the seating…
