What owners wrote
My wife and I purchased a new 2016 honda hrv on oct.15.2016 from townsend honda in tuscaloosa, alabama. The car spontaneously caught on fire while sitting on a concrete slab in our driveway on dec.24.2016 (odometer approximately 300 miles). Fire was in the engine compartment and got so hot it melted the vinyl siding on my home (about 30 feet away).
I was stopped at a stop light on a city street. The car started accelerating on its own even though my foot was on the brake.
