Honda has been unable to address the existing recall for the fuel pump on my car. I've called multiple times between july 2020 and today (october 19th 2020). They state that the parts have not been released to the dealer, and that I should call again in a couple weeks. They are not resolving this issue in a timely manner.
The contact owns a 2019 Honda Insight. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V858000 (Fuel System, Gasoline) however, the part to do the recall repair was unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The manufacturer was made aware of the issue. The contact stated that while driving approximately 60 MPH, the vehicle was losing motive power.
