What owners wrote
Consumer complained about having problems with the electrical components which caused an accident. The vehicle the accelerator dropped to the floor and the brakes did not respond. *nlm
For the past two years, there has occurred approximately ten unintended accelerations in my 1998 honda passport. (isuzu) this occurs mainly in a stop and go situation when driving in heavy traffic. The rpm's suddenly shoot up to about 6000, and just as suddenly decrease. The rear wheels spin while I am holding the brake down. On the last occasion, I had it in park and the acceleration occurred again. I have taken it into the isuzu people and honda people and they could not find the cause, nor correct the problem.
