2017 Honda Pilot cruise control problems

The vehicle was destroyed and towed. The driver and front seat passenger sustained torso bruises from the seat belts, which did not require medical attention. A police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic who indicated that, after starting the vehicle, the engine continued to rev extremely high.
