Driver traveling at 30-40 MPH, struck another vehicle broadside. On city street. Front end of vehicle smashed. Car declared totaled. Air bag deployed but only 1-2 inches then deflated. Driver struck steering wheel and suffered facial, and body injuries including cracked sternum. Leaser, and insurance companies not concerned about air bag. Offered only medical attention. Attorney not interested as this bag not on recall list, yet. Warning to others of possible faulty air bag.
2016 hyundai tucson eco: vehicle was stationary and I noticed the air bag indicator is illuminated. I removed keys from ignition and re-started with same results. Not sure if it's a module or a defective restraint system.
