What owners wrote

The vehicle failed to accelerate on a circle causing me and another vehicle to collide. I have taken the car into the shop on numerous occasions the first time at 150 miles on the odometer and continuing for over a year, each time the dealership insists that no problem exists or existed, neither hyundai nor the dealership will acknowledge that there is an inherent safety issue with this 7 speed transmission, this vehicle decelerates, hesitates from a stop and does not always handle in a safe manner.

Reported at 21,000 miles, March 2017 CrashInjury

Purchased this car in november 2017. Vehicle has a dual clutch transmission, and has a serious hesitation problem from a standing start when accelerating. Very dangerous situation when making a left turn. Half way thru the turn it hesitates and will not accelerate but then surges forward due to putting more pressure on the gas pedal. Problem is intermittent. I have reported this to the dealer twice already. Both times they have said they can find nothing is wrong. That this is how a dual clutch transmission works.
